Today is my first day of school. I start online classes at UOP today. Let’s see if I can keep with it this time. I already have a busy week. But it’s a must, I need to get this done!

154 Percent jump in Mobile broadband
A study from Reston, Va.-based ComScore (NASDAQ: SCOR) looked at U.S. Internet usage via mobile broadband for 2007 over 2006. The research focused on data collected from computers where access via mobile broadband Internet services providers, or ISPs, occurred.
Mobile broadband differs from Wi-Fi access as it uses cellular networks where users pay subscriptions for access.
We’ll I’m now one of those people using more Mobile broadband. I have final turned in my old Nokia 6010 phone in for a smart phone. It’s been a long time coming, I now.
I wanted a phone with the following:
Wi-Fi
Windows Mobile 6
Small/Thin phone (I like to put my phone in my pocket, not wear it on my side)
One hand operations (This is how I ruled out two types of phone (tilt)
Sync with my Outlook at work and home (need that schedule)
Download mail from Gmail and/or hotmail
How I was going to use it:
Would be used to test my new mobile website: www.ws4r.mobi (still under development)
Check email (Would not send a lot of mails, more for just reading them)
Use Microsoft or Google MAPS (GPS was not a requirement, I’m never that lost.)
Use Google Reader
I tried out the ATT Tilt and Motorola Q, also tired the T-mobile Dash and Wing. Taking into account the price, phone usable, size, items listed above and just how it feels to use. I choose the Dash. I stayed with T-Mobile because, well, the pricing at the time was the same as the others companies and I really liked the feel of the phone.
Which phone do you use?
Go Jacksonville Jaguars!
Go Jaguars!!!
Good luck against the undefeated New England Patriots. Jaguars are 13 underdogs, but my perdition is the Jags win by 10 points and end the Patriots perfect year.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to all and Welcome to my Blog.
I’m going to start out this 2008 year with a blog. I have been putting it off for a while now. I started one a few years back, but only updated twice and gave up. I just could not find the time to keep it up to date. After I answered all my emails the last thing I wanted to do was type in a blog. But this year will be different. I’m putting my friends and family links as well as my business information all on one site.
I’m even going to encourage my contacts to use my Blog instead of email. Let’s see if this works.
Once again, Happy New Year, and may 2008 be even better then 2007!
George
