U.S. Postal Service is increasing shipping rates Jan 18 2009

U.S. Postal Service is increasing shipping rates Jan. 18.

The following services will increase:

  • Parcel Select, by 5.9 percent
  • Priority Mail, by 3.9 percent
  • Express Mail, by an average of 5.7 percent
  • Parcel Return Service, by 5.3 percent
  • International Shipping Services, by 8.5 percent.

The U.S. Postal Service announcement, the price changes on mailing services, including stamps, will be announced in February 2009 and will go into effect in May 2009.

Yahoo’s Yang to step down!

Word on the street, Jerry Yang is step down as chief executive at yahoo. It is about time Dude! Would this clear the way for a new deal with Microsoft? Would Microsoft want Yahoo if Yang is still say in his former role as Chief Yahoo role?
